What is your favorite restaurant? Is it a local family-owned restaurant? Those are my favorite. Well, Fall is here, which means school is back in session, and days are jam-packed with extracurricular activities! This October, Olga’s Kitchen, a Michigan-based, family-owned restaurant, wants your family to take a break from meal prep and enjoy a meal out. So that’s what we did, because guess what, Olga’s Kitchen is my favorite!
Now, my first question is, have you heard of Olga’s Kitchen or been to one before? It is a chain with a Mediterranean-accented menu of flatbread sandwiches & salads in a sleek, bright space. I love what they have done with it.
I remember when I was in high school me and my bestie would always go to Olga’s. So I thought it would be perfect for us to hang out and go there together. The kids loved it. It never disappoints. It’s always good and I know what to expect. I like that.
I got my staple Olga, that I always get. The three cheese Olga is my favorite, along with the Olga snackers. The snackers have this garlic cheese spread that is so perfect with them. Seriously, the best. Now that my son is almost 11, he really loves to order from the adult menu. It’s pretty cute because he thinks he is so grown. And actually he is almost taller then me, so he is pretty grown. So, I let him order from the adult menu and he loved it.
Olga’s is always a family friendly place to eat. The service and atmosphere is always great. I just love that it is a family-owned restuarant.

I have memories from my whole life of special lunch dates with my grandma, aunts, parents, and my own family at Olga’s. I moved away 13 years ago, but every visit to Michigan, we make sure we hit Olga’s. I had to learn how to make the Olga bread myself so we can have it when I’m across the country. 🙂
