smell like the garden and clean like the dickens with mrs. meyer’s clean day :: new spring line radish scent :: review and giveaway

smell like the garden and clean like the dickens with mrs. meyer’s clean day :: new spring line radish scent :: review and giveawayI make a MESS in my kitchen daily. Like we are talking disaster usually every day.

I need cleaners for my kitchen that are going to cut grease and loosen dried on gunk.

About 2 years ago however, I learned about the toxins and chemicals in most household cleaners – things like phthalates, triclosan, phosphates, parabens, perfumes, and dyes that affect our hormones and cause cancer – and they were in EVERYTHING I was using. I started making my own cleaners with plain vinegar and water and maybe some lemon or baking soda here and there but it just didn’t do the trick in the kitchen like I needed it to.

smell like the garden and clean like the dickens with mrs. meyer’s clean day :: new spring line radish scent :: review and giveawayI have wanted to try Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day products for a while now, and after using them, I’m wondering why I didn’t start sooner! Not only do they use completely safe, plant based ingredients in their products, THEY ACTUALLY WORK!

Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day lists EVERY ingredient on their products AND website (read HERE) and what they are used for. I was surprised at how well simple groupings of essential oils and plant based ingredients cut daily grime, grease, and dirt. I have used other “green” cleaners and have not been as impressed with the results. Mrs. Meyer’s outperforms other even “superior” brands of green products in third party testing…it passed the test of MY kitchen – and that is pretty hard to pass!

smell like the garden and clean like the dickens with mrs. meyer’s clean day :: new spring line radish scent :: review and giveawayI received the Kitchen Basics Set and Concentrated All Purpose Cleaner in the Radish scent to try out. I was really curious what it was going to smell like! I don’t use radishes often so I couldn’t put my finger on how it would smell…you guys…it is AMAZING! Doesn’t it make such a big difference in your cleaning when you have something gorgeous to smell while you are doing it?! Super clean and crisp – I am in love. Of course they have other scents to – all garden inspired! I really want to try them all!

smell like the garden and clean like the dickens with mrs. meyer’s clean day :: new spring line radish scent :: review and giveawayThe concentrated all purpose cleaner is going to last me forever – I couldn’t believe how great the price is for something that is probably going to last me a year! The all purpose cleaner and counter top spray are cutting through everything in my kitchen and bathroom. Even in the craft and playroom 😉

smell like the garden and clean like the dickens with mrs. meyer’s clean day :: new spring line radish scent :: review and giveawayI really like the hand soap even though I typically just make my own. I am a stickler about no triclosan in my hand soaps – it was first a registered pesticide – no thank you. This handsoap is very safe and it kills germs just as effectively – with natural ingredients. If your handsoap has triclosan in the ingredients – toss it and make the switch. Your hormones and body will thank you.

smell like the garden and clean like the dickens with mrs. meyer’s clean day :: new spring line radish scent :: review and giveawayI am also pretty much in love with the dish soap. I need dish soap that can cut through grease and a ton of it. And let’s face it – we are going to be putting our mouths back on these items so I want it to be toxin free! The dish soap is safe and works incredible.
