Shout® + the color run + loads of fun :: giveaway

disclaimer giveaway
color run logoRunning is a very important part of my life. It wasn’t until recently that I really became interested in all the fun run options that are available today. I’m typically a run…to run and not to race type of person. Last year I had a bunch of friends doing some fun 5K’s where they got down and dirty on the race course. At first I thought…gross. Today, I think FUN!! I wanted to share a little bit of information with you about the Color Run, sponsored by Shout® and persuade YOU to check it out too!

color run and shout

Here we are already, 2014. Are YOU having a fun year or are you too stressed, too tired, too…{fill in the blank}? I want to encourage you to keep reading and let Shout®, who is sponsoring The Color Run, help you find your fun again and celebrate you and your health! Check out the fun that will happen, and then keep reading to see what’s near you and how you can get involved…

At races across the country, runners will receive a Shout® Color Catcher® sample upon picking up their race kits, and onsite, post-race in the festival area, participants will take part in a Shout® orange color throw, where everyone will toss their opened orange packets in to the air.

At select races across the country, runners will have a special experience with the Shout® Color Mister and 360 Color Cam.
o   Participants will run through the orange color zone, courtesy of Shout®.
o   Post-race, runners can stop by the Shout® tent where there will be a misting station to lock in their color.
o   The 360 Color Cam will blast runners with even more color and capture the fun with a camera that will produce a 360 video so they can share their messy moments with their friends.
o   These special activities will take place in:

  • May 31: Queens, NY
  • June 8: Chicago, IL
  • June 21: Los Angeles, CA
  • July 19: Philadelphia, PA
  • Aug 23: Salt Lake City, UT
  • Sept 6: Portland, OR

Shout® has also partnered up with Yelp to launch the Shout It Out Fun Finder, found at ShoutItOut.com. It’s so smart it uses your computer’s IP address and a list of fun activities will show that are nearby. Easy peasy!!
Also….from now until September 30, 2014, some fun things are happening!! You can win a fun-filled, dream vacation to experience a Color Run in New Zealand!! WHAT!! All you have to do is post a photo on Twitter or Instagram and BE SURE to use the hashtag #ShoutItOut AND #enter.

Spills and stains are bound to happen when having fun, but with the stain-fighting power and versatility of Shout®, stains can be treated wherever and whenever they happen, making it easy for families to get the most out of life while still looking their best.
