scünci headbands :: review and giveaway

I think I might like hair accessories more then jewelry. Jewelry is a close second though. I feel like my hair is rather boring at the moment. It needs to be cut and highlighted so badly right now, but I just haven’t had the time to schedule a “team Ginny” hair day at the salon. To bring some pizzazz to my every day mom hair, I like to add headbands. I am always impressed with the selection that scünci has to offer. I was more then happy to receive two headbands free of charge to share with you for the purpose of this review and giveaway.

This season, scünci® Hair Accessories has an array of headbands and headwraps that will band together queens everywhere in quick, easy, and fashionable hair-dos. Whether you’re a sporty girl, an animal print fanatic, or a bohemian chic fashionista, scünci has a look that’s right for you! Below you can see a few categories of hair accessories that scünci has to offer:

trendy tressesTrendy Tresses: Show off your beauty smarts with the scünci® 6-Strand Fabric and Beaded Headwrap, a trendy and chic way to get your hair off your face!  Want a little extra bling?  The latest scünci® Jeweled Headband has that added wow factor for extra glamour.  Or go bohemian with the scünci® Wide Loose Knit Color Striped Headwrap. Available at drug and mass retailers for an average retail price of $5.99.

animal printAnimal Accents: Go wild with the scünci® animal accents accessories collection.  The new scünci® Animal Print and Solid Interlock Headwrap, or the scünci® Knotted Animal Print Headband, are perfect to add a little edge to your fall fashion this season. Available at drug and mass retailers for an average retail price of $2.99- $3.99.

I was very impressed with how comfortable the animal accents headband was. A friend of mine loves animal prints. I recruited her to help me with a photo for the review. As you can see, it looks great on light or dark hair. I also tried the jeweled headband. I recently had a wedding to go to and this really dressed up my boring hair. Again, it was comfortable too. That’s a big deal to me. I know beauty can be painful, but I’ll pass on uncomfortable headbands. I was in enough trouble with the high heels I was wearing to the vineyard wedding with rough terrain this past weekend.
