Being prepared for this baby, as much as I can, is one thing I know I had to do.  Whether your breastfeeding, pumping or using formula, we all need to feed our babies.  I know from my previous children, I am going to need bottles.  Knowing that I wanted to get some that will last and possibly be usable for more then just a baby bottle, I searched for some glass bottles.

LifeFactory does have more then just baby bottles but let me just tell you about those first.  Years ago, I bought a glass water bottle from life factory and just love it.  I still use it every day.  Their baby bottles are made of the highest quality, thermal shock resistant borosilicate glass. This allows the bottles to transition safely from freezer to boiling water. The silicone sleeves provide a good gripping surface for little hands and help protect against the occasional drop. The silicone sleeves and plastic caps are made in the U.S. All components are BPA-free and phthalate-free. While the glass bottles and silicone nipples are made in France.

I was sent three bottles to start my stash.  I plan to get a few more to completely be able to use a couple a day.  They come in 4 oz and 9 oz size.  They have three size nipples and come in many different colors.  While these bottles are very durable, they are not unbreakable, because let’s face it, it’s glass.  Having used my bottle for years and not once breaking it, and having dropped it, I trust the baby bottles. They are dishwasher safe and no need to remove the outside sleeve, which is great.  Get this, as your baby grows they offer a range of caps (sippy and flat) to extend the life of your bottle. Yes, that’s what I’m talking about. These can turn into sippy cups. Bonus!  Another fantastic feature is that they are compatible with most major breast pumps.

If you are thinking, will they not be too heavy for baby to hold?  They really are not that heavy, plus I liked to feed my kiddos, so she probably won’t have to hold it to many times.

To my surprise, as I said before they have other products then the baby bottles, I also received teethers, one of the new water bottles and a 2 cup storage container. I was so excited to see the extra product, I could barely contain myself. Not only are they fun to look at but so functional. I have been using the water bottle and storage container for a couple weeks and just love them.
