recipe :: chicken parmesan

I love finding recipes that everyone can eat.  Most of the recipes I do have to alter them some, but for the most part this is a meal everyone can eat.  Chicken Parmesan is a great meal for the whole family and nutritious.  This is a meal that will take some time to prepare, but it is worth it to see your children clean their plates.

Chicken Parmesan

Ingredients:

    • Enough chicken breasts for all the members of your family
    • Flour
    • Egg
    • Marinara Sauce
    • Parmesan Cheese

Step 1:  First you need to batter your chicken.  I like to dip the chicken in egg and then flour.  Once it is covered in flour put it in your deep fryer for 8-10 minutes depending on how large your chicken breasts are at 450 degrees.  You will repeat this step until all of your chicken is fried.

Step 2:  Next you will place your chicken on a pan, cover it with marinara sauce and Parmesan Cheese.  Place it in your oven for 15 minutes at 350 degrees.  If you are in a rush cook your chicken long enough for the cheese to melt.

Step 3:  While your chicken is baking you can cook your spaghetti noodles or noodles of choice.  Make sure to follow the directions on the noodle box that you plan to use.  I usually cook my noodles 8 to 10 minutes.

Once your timer goes off you are ready to eat.  Just drain your noodles, cover them with more marinara sauce, and place your chicken on the sauce if you like you can also add more cheese.  This is a simple, easy meal that the whole family will enjoy and it is almost impossible to mess up.  It took me years of practice to be able to just throw meals together, but now I am confident enough in my cooking abilities to share my favorite meals with you.
