protect your kids (and their stuff) with safetytat and anywhere labels :: review

Summer time means lots of outdoor activities – fairs, festivals, zoo trips, theme parks. But it also means parents have to be on high alert to be sure that their kids don’t wander off and get lost. Let’s be honest, as parents we can’t have our hands and eyes on our kids every second of every day, and it takes literally a second for a child to see something that catches their curiosity, and they’re off like the wind. You look up, and they are out of eyeshot. Panic. I remember getting lost in a store once. I was scared… and my mom was scared. Luckily I was just in a store, and they were able to locate my mom over the PA system, but can you imagine losing sight of your kid in a zoo or theme park? My heart skips a beat just thinking about it.

For this reason, I was so excited when I heard about SafetyTat temporary safety tattoos. You can personalize them with your contact information so that if your child is lost, you can be contacted more readily. This is a highly brilliant product, and I think that every parent should consider adding them to their vacation packing list.  Even schools could use these – print the school phone number on the SafetyTat and every kid on the class field trip gets a cool-looking temporary tattoo. I am so happy to have these, and will be using them when we go to the zoo and to the state fair this summer. They are small slice of peace of mind. They have allergy and special needs notification tattoos too! I love this line of products!

I urge you to go read the testimonials on their site, and check out the difference between their 2 types of tattoos.

And if you want to be able to recover stuff that your child has lost (a beloved stuffed animal, a backpack, a favorite sippy cup) SafetyTat also makes Anywhere Labels (stickers and metal tags). The stickers are made of some kind of plastic-vinyl-type material (not papery), so they are dishwasher and microwave safe, and they stick to almost anything. The adhesive is really strong and the material is flexible, so they will stick around curves and edges without a problem. I love them!
