Do you know what Kefir is? Have you tried it?
Kefir is new to our fridge and we are loving it. This kefir is from Lifeway. Lifeway has several products out there. We are currently trying the Kefir. We thought the Kefir would be a great way to get some great nutrients and probiotics in.
We have been adding this Kefir to smoothies and it makes them taste great. Just adding some fresh or frozen fruit to it and blending it is great as well. You can also just drink it plain as is.
Lifeway original kefir balances your body’s digestive health and immunity, it has 12 live and active cultures per cup. Kefir is gluten free and 99% lactose free. Kefir is made from milk and it is a creamy consistency that is a yogurt like smoothie. I am sure your kids will love it, mine do.
There are several types of Kefir, some flavored already, some greek-style and some veggie. You pick what your flavor is. I am interested in trying some of the other flavors.
There are so many benefits to drinking Kefir. Try it out for digestive health and immunity.

I use Lifeway Kefir in my smoothies – great probiotics!
I keep hearing about “kefir” recently, but have yet to see it, or know what it was (until I read your blog). It’s a little more clear. It sounds interesting. But how is it a milk product without lactose?
