potty target :: give the boys something to aim for {giveaway}

On the first day of school, about mid-morning, the kindergarten teacher said, “If anyone has to go to the bathroom, hold up two fingers.”

A little voice from the back of the room asked, “How will that help?”

Kids are hilarious and I love being a mom, but I will never be okay with our Jack Jack’s laziness when it comes to going to the bathroom.  I don’t care how sweet his little voice is when he comes out and says, “Mom, I missed a little.” That is not acceptable to me.  It’s a HUGE hole, just pay attention kid!

Here is a product that will actually help the boys go to the bathroom.  I’m in love with our Potty Target stickers.  I giggled a little bit when I read, “Keeps bathrooms up to 85% cleaner.” However, our odds were down to it being a 50/50 chance of Jack keeping things neat in the restroom and I have not had to clean up any mishaps since we installed our Potty Target decals a few weeks ago.

It’s mostly for the boys, but Jack’s little sister Annabelle (2 years old) tries to hit the target with her #2’s.  As a mom, you go with whatever works, even if it is kind of disgusting to talk about.  We’ve been cracking up every time Jack goes to the restroom and we hear him cheering himself on.  I’m cheering in my head too because I know I have less filth in the bathroom to clean up later.

There is a wide assortment to choose from on the Potty Target website.  I personally had to pass on the decal that looked like a fly.  The kid’s bathroom is our main bath for guests too.  Didn’t want our visitors being startled or my housekeeping skills being questioned when they used our bathroom.  I’m 100% sure that Jack would have picked out the fly though, if he had a choice.

If you have a little guy that takes trips to the bathroom at night, you should consider the glow in the dark targets.  Genius!!!  If your little man has lazy aim, this product is for you.  I could see it being a helpful potty training tool as well.  my SIMPLE star rating :: 5 out of 5

    Potty Targets are a great way to teach the novice boys how to aim. For slightly older boys that tend to get lazy and make a mess, Cheerios is a great idea. It is slightly more challenging as the target floats and moves, but it keeps the boys interested enough to avoid accidents. (I also keep my Lysol wipes close by and teach him how to clean up after himself if he got distracted during the process!!)
