Even before my eldest daughter was walking I learned the importance of only getting good quality shoe that would allow as much natural movement as possible. It really stuck with me when I learned from a fellow mom that the shoes young children wear can affect their foot health for the rest of their lives. Screw up their feet for life? Um, no thanks.
Armed with my new-found knowledge I quickly found that there are many options for natural movement shoes for babies, and quite a few that include toddler sizes as well. But as my eldest daughter has grown I’ve learned that those bigger sizes aren’t as easy to find in age appropriate styles.
