Shortly after the birth of my first daughter, I started reading about toxic chemicals in soap – even popular baby soaps. I got pretty picky about what I was willing to buy for bath time, which ended up limiting a lot of the fun “bubble bath” type kids soaps. It was kind of disappointing to me, because I remembered how special bubble baths were as a kid.
I typically use a castile based soap for bath time, but rarely get to have a fun bubble bath. We recently received the “Tubby Time” bath set from My True Nature and the girls just love the bubble bath! I am even more in love with the ingredients, and the story behind the company.
Kelly started making bath soap for her kids when she couldn’t find store bought soap with safe ingredients. It has launched her head first in to a self made, national brand that mama’s everywhere are turning to for safe and natural bath time FUN!
My True Nature contains:
- NO harmful sulfites, parabens, phthalates, dioxins, or formeldahyde.
- NO propylene glycol, DEA/TEA, or toxic petroleum/mineral oils
- NO synthetic colors
- NO synthetic fragrances
We really loved the fresh, soft smell of the bubble bath and shampoo/body wash. My True Nature uses natural raw materials that make their soaps “bubble”, clean the skin, and make it smell fresh. We have been using it a little over a week, and the girls’ skin looks great. I only wash their skin a couple times per week (other than hands of course), but if they have had something harsh on their skin, I can always tell. We also received a sample size of their lotion and it was just perfect.
I love the idea of supporting a fellow mama who had the guts and mama bear tenacity to stand up and make a difference by changing how we look at making these products for our kids!
