Happy Hump Day — half way though the week, we can do this. And as a side note, where on earth did “Hump Day” come from? What started it all? I should reference google, that I know…but alas, I have more important things to deal with right now. Like…sharing a fun outfit with you all!

I have shared Hobie sunglasses with you all before, so you know by now that they are a favorite of mine. And let me tell you, I have tried the sunglasses. I require sunglasses whenever it’s slightly squint worthy. Full on snow, full on sun and even some overcast days. If I don’t wear sunglasses, I’m squinting and then at night I have a wicked headache. So…there’s my drama for you, Ha!

Anyways, I received the Hobie Jaco S shades and I absolutely love them! They are incredibly lightweight and fit well on my head. The lens color options can be different as well. I have seen some other bloggers that have this shade and I knew I wanted to try them. There is also this fun green hued pair that are pretty fabulous. If you like a more original/plain color option, that is available too — their new Jaco S Lustgarten are pretty sweet lookin’.

And let’s talk about polarized lenses for a second and why you should opt for these instead of the cheap options you can purchase at your local big-box retailer. Polarized costs more, yes, but it helps reduce the glare. If you are outside, near water, etc., you are going to see better because polarized glasses REDUCE GLARE. It’s like they  define things in the environment…and helps you see things you wouldn’t see. Are polarized lenses good for driving too? I think it’s best to use polarized when driving too…because, glare while driving can be quite dangerous too!
