I adore anything www.minted.com has put their name on. It’s such a great place for artists to share their talents. encourage others with a noteI’m using my precious new set of notecards. The design I picked was even sweeter and delicate in person. I feel like a hand written note is a bit of a lost art. It’s easier to text someone. There’s nothing wrong with that, but it’s also meaningful to get a note from a friend. It makes me realize that I meant enough to them that they would take the extra time to write and mail a card.

I like to have stationary on hand for those extra special thank you’s I want to send someone. I also use notecards to pass along encouragement. This stationary set is my favorite and I only break them out for my most special friends and family. If you get a note from me on these, you should feel privileged. 🙂

My dad’s birthday is snuggled up with Mother’s Day so I actually got two sets of stationary. One was for myself, Happy Mother’s Day to me! The other set was for my dad’s birthday. I have selfish intentions too. I know he will write me a sweet note to thank me for his new notecards. I have a great example in my life of someone who is a consistent encourager through hand written notes. He loves to fly fish so this stationary set was perfect.   7. My most memorable note was from my niece. She expressed love and gratitude for my being there for her in the past. It really touched my heart.

  9. My most memorable note has to be the very first love letter my husband wrote to me before we started dating. I still have it to this day and whenever we are having problems in the marriage I break it out and read it to remind myself how much he loves me.

  30. My husband regularly sends me little notes but the sweetest was right after I had our first child. I was so exhausted and he shut off the baby monitor, got up with our daughter and left me a cute note to wake up to AFTER I got more than 2 hours of sleep. Seriously best hubby ever!
