I’m using my precious new set of notecards. The design I picked was even sweeter and delicate in person. I feel like a hand written note is a bit of a lost art. It’s easier to text someone. There’s nothing wrong with that, but it’s also meaningful to get a note from a friend. It makes me realize that I meant enough to them that they would take the extra time to write and mail a card.
I like to have stationary on hand for those extra special thank you’s I want to send someone. I also use notecards to pass along encouragement. This stationary set is my favorite and I only break them out for my most special friends and family. If you get a note from me on these, you should feel privileged. 🙂
My dad’s birthday is snuggled up with Mother’s Day so I actually got two sets of stationary. One was for myself, Happy Mother’s Day to me! The other set was for my dad’s birthday. I have selfish intentions too. I know he will write me a sweet note to thank me for his new notecards. I have a great example in my life of someone who is a consistent encourager through hand written notes. He loves to fly fish so this stationary set was perfect.
