Minted 2018 Card

I was late to order my cards this year. I am usually that person who has a card in your mailbox on December 1st. I alerted my friends on social media that I was fine, just running a bit behind this year. (I was joking, but it truly is out of character for me.) My excuses for being late begin with not arranging to get our family photos done by a professional. Then there was a big fire in California that left us with a smoke haze for weeks. We also had one child with not only broken and taped glasses, but a severe case of chapped lips. All that to say, we never did get a family picture done, but I found a snapshot of us that worked perfectly with the card I settled on. Thank goodness phones take decent quality photos. Don’t stress if you didn’t find your field this year to take a perfect family picture. Please tell me you are one of the 14 million views of the grammar police Christmas card video. I laughed out loud more then once!

This year the back of our card has a little bit of a recap of 2018. We had a really nice year that held a few changes for our family. Minted had the perfect backer for our card to share some of those details about our life and include photos too.

Minted Chrstimas CardI tease my mom because every year she sends a card with glitter on it and it gets all over my table, hands, face, and house. This year I also have a glittery card, but because it’s the nicest of quality it’s not leaving unwanted glitter anywhere.

One of the reasons I have sent Minted cards since 2012 is because my entire database is saved on my account and they address my cards for FREE! This saves me so much time and the envelope choices are astounding. I couldn’t resist the Golden Gate Bridge with Rudolf this year. We live in the Bay Area and it just seemed so perfect. I hope our card is an experience to make our friends and family smile from the first moment they set their eyes on it.

Please HURRY and get your cards ordered. Minted is also offering 20% off holiday cards with code WINTER18 through Monday, 12/17! We did our own christmas cards this year, just walmart ones since we didn’t have the time. But I have always wanted to do minted cards, especially so THEY could do all the addresses!
