#lovemotherearth with toddle green flushable potty chair liners :: #earthday review and giveaway

toddle green logo - eco friendly green potty chair liners - the simple moms blogIn March, I introduced you all to ToddleGreen flushable potty chair liners and was all gung ho about starting potty training.

Well, my kid wasn’t. At. All. She is actually the complete opposite of gung ho (gung no??).

For example, while she was watching Bambi, sans diaper:

Mama: “Lily, do you have to go pee pee?”

Lily: “No, Mama.”

Mama: “Are you SURE?”

Lily: “No pee pee, Mama.”

5 minutes later: *pees on Daddy’s leather chair*

Sigh.

So while my kid still has ZERO interest in telling me when she needs to go pee/poop, refuses to sit on the potty, doesn’t care when she pees on the floor (or on Daddy’s leather chair), and isn’t at all bothered by poop in her diapers… mommy has an awesome eco-friendly product to share with you all, and has only been able to test it with warm water instead of toddler pee. Toddlers have no respect for adult plans. 🙂

In my simulated usage of ToddleGreen liners, they are awesome! They fit our little froggy potty chair, hold warm water long enough to transfer the full liner to the toilet, and break down in water so they can be flushed. When the time comes to use them with actual bodily fluids, the potty chair will stay clean and sanitary because of these liners!

The liners are made out of polyvinyl alcohol, which is a water-soluble synthetic polymer that is odorless and nontoxic. It has many uses, but one of them is in eye drops as a lubricant, so that makes me feel really ok about it touching my kiddo’s bum!

I learned that the liners will quickly soften when disposed and submerged in water. Awesome idea! I need these for my potty training 24 month old.

ToddleGreen Flushable Potty Liners would be great with our singing potty. And potty training has been going badly for our 3.5 year old twins too.
