When I go to the grocery store without a list, I tend to wander. When I don’t have my kids with me….I wander even more. Please tell me I’m not alone with this. Ha! I found myself search through the pet aisle most recently and found something pretty fun. My dog is thrilled. So, naturally, I had to share with you!

Although you can’t tell from this adorable picture, she’s an active, spunky, fun and cuddly little one. She loves to play with us – fetch is her favorite. When I was looking down the pet aisle at my local Meijer, I spotted the Milk-Bone® ActiveTM Toys. I then purchased the medium sized dispensing ball. You can stick medium sized Milk-Bone biscuits in the medium ball for added fun. She’s a hoot watching her try and get them out. Every now and then, a treat will fall out of the ball with not a lot of work. It’s like manna from heaven…but for a dog. Ha! What a great way to keep the dogs active and rewarding them at the same time.
For us, we found that rolling the ball from one side of the room to the other is what she likes best. I think it works better too, opposed to throwing it. It’s not a light ball! We have had this toy for about two weeks now and it is still the same quality as when I purchased it. Our Ruby is a chewer, and with her playing and chewing, it hasn’t messed with the Dispensing Ball at all. That says something about the awesome quality, if you ask me!
The Milk-Bone Active Toys are quality. They are made from a non-toxic material and specifically designed to work with the Milk-Bone biscuits. If you have a smaller dog, they make these for dogs with the recommended weight of up to 24 lbs. The medium sized is recommended for dogs of 25-49 lbs.
