kid to kid children’s consignment

Every Christmas we clean out our closets by getting rid of clothes, shoes and toys. I’ve been doing this for years and have always had a huge success in trading our unused items for items we need.  When I became a house wife money was tight and I began going to our local Kid to Kid children’s consignment store.  We have two locations in our area.  I have mastered consigning by using both locations when I need new items for my children.

You can see if you have a store near you HERE!  I was able to get a new pair of jeans, jacket, house shoes, blouse, vest, leggings just for trading unwanted toys and outgrown clothes.  You have the option to get an in store credit for the items Kid to Kid accepts or cash.  If you take the cash option you get 20% less.  I could take $65 or $52 cash.  While you wait for them to look through your items you have plenty of time to scope the store to see which option would be best for you.  Those of you that don’t like the idea of shopping second hand they also offer new items that still have store tags on them and brand new items that they sell.

Don’t get frustrated if you don’t get a lot of money your first time consigning, just ask the associate why your items were not selected and go from there.  Kid to Kid offers a lot of tips on how to get the most for your items.  I haven’t met a rude associate so please just ask.

This visit I needed something for my middle child to wear for her pictures with Santa.  This complete outfit all still had store tags on them.  She was more than excited!  Kid to Kid is a great way to get rid of all those unwanted toys and clothes by cleaning out their closets after Christmas!  Happy New Year!
