You all know what released this week, FROZEN on DVD and Blu-Ray. I’m not going to spend a ton of time talking about this amazing (I mean, AMAZING!!) film, however I am going to share a little. 🙂  It’s one of my all time favorites.  You can purchase this DVD in blu-ray format, dvd format and combo pack.  Some even come with a digital copy so you can watch it on the go.  Not only that, there are pretty great bonus features on the DVD too. We have watched the movie four times now as well as dug into the bonus features. Those include music videos, the deleted scenes, shorts and trailers, to name a few. Hours of fun on this DVD!

Fearless optimist Anna sets off on an epic journey — teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff and his loyal reindeer Sven — to find her sister Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom.

Now…on to the goodies we purchased on a shopping trip to our local Wal-Mart!! I must say, the selection at our store was minimal, as the movie was just released and everyone is pumped about it, yet it had just what I was looking for.  While there are tons of AWE-some toys, dolls and dress up outfits, I would be neglecting what we truly love in our house if I didn’t share with you the books and other similar activities that you can pick up.

The hours my girls spend together reading, coloring and doing crafts is so special in my eyes. They talk and laugh and just plain have fun using their creativity. We were able to pick up four new books and two coloring books – one with paint included and one with crayons included.
I truly love this movie and the story behind it. Being that I have four girls now (oh my!!), the bond that is created with the sisters in the movie is one that my girls can {and have} related too. They are running around talking about being the best sisters ever!! It’s so touching, and I’m happy that there are fun toys out there that can keep that bond in front of them. Whether it comes from a movie with a great story behind it or the toys that remind them of the story. 🙂
