KT TAPE LogoLike me there’s a good chance you’ve seen KT TAPE before on professional athletes. There’s probably also a good chance that, like me, you’d dismissed KT TAPE as a tool just for professional or ‘serious’ athletes. In the iconic words from Pretty Woman “Big mistake. Big. Huge.”

Knee Support with KT TAPEWhether you’re a professional athlete, a weekend warrior, or a mom who is trying to get more fit and healthy KT TAPE can be for you. This elastic sports and fitness tape is designed for muscle, ligament, and tendon pain relief and support.

With all my recent trips to the gym it didn’t take long for me to find a good reason to use my Blaze Orange KT TAPE PRO. With a history of knee pain I wasn’t surprised when I managed to make both of my knees very angry after I upped the intensity in my walk/run workout. Ouch. Immediately after I had taped up my knees with KT TAPE I could feel a difference. My knees didn’t ache and I was able to walk without a crazy limp. A day and a half later I removed the KT TAPE and my knees felt completely pain free!

KT TAPE PRO Blaze OrangeThe instructional Calf and Full Knee Support videos helped give me step-by-step instructions as well as some great tips and pointers for the two different KT TAPE applications I have used so far on myself. I would like to note that while taping my knees was easy to do on my own there are some applications that you cannot physically apply to your own body. Rule of thumb: If the person in the video is having help you probably need some too.

KT TAPE in gym bagThere is a lot more great information, details, and application videos on the KT TAPE website that I highly recommend checking out. Packed in my gym bag to help keep me going whenever I have another of those inevitable aches and pains that come with increasing my physical activity KT TAPE is one of my new gym buddies.

Oh my goodness, thanks for sharing this. I have medical problems but with the help of my leg braces I am finally able to move around more. The areas where I had surgeries on my knees are still a week spot. After walking for a short distance they hurt. I just showed this to my husband and he agrees that this may be the trick. I’ve lost 10 lbs and inches which has made me feel more like my old self. I’m going to get this tape and give it a try myself. I’m excited that there is something like this that won’t interfer with my braces and help me at the same time. With MS and Neuropathy in my limbs it’s hard, but I get better every day and will survive and with this get back in shape too! Thanks again.
