Ten years ago this May, I was married and whisked away for 10 days of newlyweded honeymoon bliss in Costa Rica. Every morning for breakfast we were served “café con leche” (coffee and milk!) no questions asked. It was just served whether you wanted it or not. I wasn’t a coffee drinker so the first couple days I didn’t touch it. One morning I decided to try it, and the rest is history. I had never had “real” coffee before. And by real I mean brewed properly and fresh, rich flavor from real quality beans!
I have been hopelessly in love with coffee ever since, and this busy mama of 3 under 5 years old really (really!) looks forward to her morning brewed cup of happiness.
I stumbled upon JOCO Cups surfing around the computer one day and I just had to have one! I have always disliked drinking coffee out of paper or plastic – the flavor is totally off. I have had stainless steel travel mugs in the past as well, but the JOCO cups were so unique!
I love how barista friendly they are! They are the exactly sized to hold traditional 8 or 12 ounce “small” or “tall” cups of coffee that your favorite coffee shop prepares for you! Not to mention how many trees will be saved by foregoing the paper cups. They mention on their website that 50,000,000 trees are sacrificed for the sake of a convienent paper cup *every*. Yikes.
The silicone splash proof lid and thermal sleeve come in a fun variety of colors from the vibrant and playful lime, yellow, and pink, to the sleek and sophisticated black, brown, and red. They are dishwasher safe (yeah!) and I love the feel of them!
My favorite part of the JOCO Cup is the cup itself. I love drinking from glass. I was a little skeptical about glass being a good option for “on the go” and travel. But this type if glass is very lightweight, and tough. It is heat resistant and dishwasher safe.
The packaging is well done and pleasing to the eye. These would make the perfect gift for the coffee or tea drinker in your life! They would make a fun addition to an off to college gift since that is when most start their coffee drinking adventures!
