To know my girls and I, you know that we have a passion for the American Girl line of dolls. However, the line is SO much more than just dolls! Matter of fact, just yesterday the newest DVD in the American Girl collection was released, and it was centered around the ‘Girl of the Year’, Isabelle.
Isabelle is a dancer…and in my house FULL of dancers, it was a HUGE hit! We had family movie night last night to celebrate before my husband left for a work trip. We cuddled up on the couch, all together…enjoying each other’s company as usual.
Isabelle Palmer, American Girl’s 2014 Girl of the Year, comes to life in a new feature-length movie from Universal Studios Home Entertainment. The movie starts Melora Hardin, and presents Erin Pitt as Isabelle, a dynamic dancer with a flair for design, in this modern-day, family-friendly story about discovering your won unique talents.
This movie couldn’t have come at a better time as my 8 year old is figuring out what sport she wants to do for the the upcoming school year. It may seem silly to you that by watching a movie, it can give direction, but in this case, it did for her 🙂
You can also pick up the soundtrack so your little dancers can keep dancing around once the movie is done. It’s a GREAT soundtrack too I might add!
So, for the little American Girl lover in your life, be sure to pick up the movie and soundtrack so they can have fun with it over and over and over again 🙂
