i like to move it move it with madagascar 3 :: review and giveaway

I will admit, I just LOVE kids movies.  Probably about as much as my kids do (if not more).  I hope someone else can relate to me on that note.  I wanted so badly to bring my girls to see Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted in the movie theater, however it just never worked out.  As soon as I heard it was coming out on DVD I was instantly giddy. Watching the previews ALONE made my entire family laugh (including my husband).

We had a chance to finally watch this together, as a family, and I am happy to say it was as funny as I imagined it to be!  That darn Marty gets me EVERY time!  (If you haven’t seen any of the Madagascar movies, Marty is the hysterical zebra.)

Ok, back on topic though. Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted, was released on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital copy on October 16, 2012.  You can also purchase it as a single DVD. Many options.  However, the most fun option is the Movie & Rainbow Wig Pack.  It is limited supply so order it soon…but as you can probably guess, you get a Marty matching colorful wig in this pack. Bonus points from your kiddos for you.Since I brought up Marty, and it’s Friday (and don’t we all have a little too much fun on Friday) I have to share this laugh with you.  Check out the Wig Out App – you can see it HERE.  Look at the buckets of fun you can create (my kids think this is hysterical):

The hilarious characters just wouldn’t be the same if the voices were any different.  Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer, Jada Pinkett Smith, Sacha Baron Cohen, Cedric the Entertainer are some of the all star case (just to name drop a few).

Alex, Marty, Melman, and Gloria are still struggling to get home to New York. This time, their journey takes them to Europe where they are relentlessly pursued by the fanatical Monaco Animal Control officer Captain Chantel DuBois (Frances McDormand). As a means of getting passage to North America, the zoo animals purchase a failing traveling circus as they become close friends with the staff like Vitaly (Bryan Cranston), Gia (Jessica Chastain), and Stefano (Martin Short). Together, they spectacularly revitalize the business and along the way find themselves reconsidering where their true home really is.

Although the description sounds serious, the movie is hilarious.  I highly recommend getting it and enjoying it with your family this weekend or any weekend to come.  It is a “safe” movie for the whole family.  And you all know I like to recommend safe ones since there are so many little eye balls out there!
