how we celebrated end of school for the big kids and potty training for the little kids! {#PampersEasyUps #ad}

“I hosted a party in conjunction with Pampers and shared some fun potty-training tips. All opinions are my own!”

With the end of the school year upon us, it’s freaky to think about all the extra time we will be having with our kids. Ok, maybe freaky is a bad word, but when you are potty training, the idea of having MORE children around to distract the one “learning” is freaky. So, with that in mind, with the help of Pampers, I gathered a few friends and we celebrated our 4 year olds graduating preschool as well as our little ones about to start potty training.how we celebrated end of school and potty training together with pampers

Win/Win because our 4-year olds knew the importance of their younger siblings’ upcoming success too because we were talking about it. It was fun right from the arrival of the big.ol.box of goodies for the party!!IMG_5Pampers Easy Ups Celebration037Pampers Easy Ups CelebrationSpring is the perfect time that many people talk about the potty training process. I know that is when I wanted to do it with all my kids. We are outside so much, it’s an easy thing to add (and if there’s accidents, much easier to clean…or not…clean up, ha!). We kicked it off with a park party!

When we were at the park, I grabbed a couple friends to give some tips about potty training. I even had my friend with us who is a preschool teacher. She has a little input as well. Take a look-see…

As I said, Pampers hosted this play day, so I would be remiss if I didn’t tell you a couple things I like about using Pampers Easy Ups.

  • They are great for daytime, nighttime and anytime in between. You don’t have to worry about leakage as well as bunching.
  • Sizing is for 2t/3t as well as 4t/5t, and there are boys and girls designs. The girls is Dora the Explorer® and the boys is Thomas & Friends®. My 2 year old LOVES her “Dora night-night diapers”! We are a cold turkey type potty training family. We use the Pampers Easy Ups strictly around bedtime, through the night and then in the early morning running around hours. Also, these have around a 12 hour protection time frame.
  • Just like the name, they are easy to pull up and down, which makes the little kids feel like big kids! This is a big help for the diaper-to-underwear transition. Plus,
  • You may or may not know this, and I learned as we were checking out Pampers Easy Ups this time around. This will make your life easier and will help your little ones learn faster…the graphics on the Pampers Easy Ups fade when they are wet. Totally GREAT technology in my opinion!
  • Another way using the Easy Ups helps your toddler potty train is by keeping the messes off clothing, bedding and other surfaces no matter where accidents happen: at home, on-the-go or overnight. Accidents might happen, but a big deal is “hidden” so to speak and you can talk through it when discovered.

Pampers Easy Ups CelebrationPampers Easy Ups CelebrationWe had a blast. The big kids played, the little kids tried to keep up and the moms watched it all happen while doing our best to have full sentences happen. Most of the time it did, but all in all, it was a GREAT way to introduce the excitement of having the big day upon us…potty training with help from Pampers Easy Ups!
