how to care for your bras + a vanity fair wrap up! {#WomenWhoDo #IC ad}

Since this summer, when I was introduced to all that Vanity Fair Lingerie is doing, I have fallen more in love with the brand. As you have learned, alongside myself, Vanity Fair is so much more than just pretty undergarments. They go above and beyond in areas like the Dress for Success initiative. I have shared multitudes of information about this the past few months, because I think it’s pretty great. And the products. I was completely NEW to the brand, had my opinions, and come to find out, my opinions were higher AFTER I learned about the products than they were before. All in all, it’s been a simply wonderful experience!

When in New York, we learned tips about the upkeep of your undergarments, we learned about the vast variety that Vanity Fair offers and we learned how, during certain times of the year, a simple purchase can allow for a bra to be donated to a woman in need. This is just a few of the amazing things that happened over the last couple months during the Vanity Fair partnership.

One of the final things that I wanted to share in this “wrap up” post, that will conclude this partnership with Vanity Fair (waahh!!), was tips on how to properly care for your bras to help them stand the test of time.

I know, we all do it. We don’t have enough bras, so we over-wear the ones we have. Bad idea because then they don’t last as long as they could. Take the time to get properly fitted, find out what bra is perfection for YOU and then watch and wait for deals. I shared this on our Facebook page, but Kohl’s was offering Vanity Fair bras for $14.99 in their Black Friday weekend specials. I got more, I mean, how could you not! Incredible deal on a top notch bra! How will I be caring for these “investments”? Vanity Fair recommends that you hand wash your bras and then lay them flat to dry. Easy peasy, right? Also, we learned that you should only wear your bras a couple times and then wash them. Are you doing that? I know that I was not for sure!

If nothing else, outside of learning about amazing undergarments, this partnership has shown me that I can do more…just being me. I can do all that I have to do, if I set my mind to it and focus. This partnership has brought light to the fact that simple changes can help me achieve greatness. Sure, it may have been through learning about a great fitting bra, but that’s a detail. The message is deeper than that, and I hope I have conveyed the message of YOU CAN DO IT in my posts throughout this campaign.
