It is getting to be that time of year where just a little coconut oil for moisture here and there is just not cutting it. We have a pretty harsh winter here and I usually need to use *something* to keep dry skin away for the remainder of the winter.

Honeybee Holistics grows and harvests the herbs for their products right on site, and use sustainable practices to wild harvest from nearby forests in the valleys of the Cascade Mountains in Washington state. It doesn’t get fresher or more real than that! Their products do NOT contain any harmful parabens, petroleums, or synthetic fragrances.
I was so excited to try out 3 of the lotions. I have been using the Calendula lotion and the Bee Naked Cream on the girls and myself. It is scent free and calendula is known for it’s gentle healing properties on the skin. The Bee Naked Cream is just that – it is the bare minimum of ingredients for the gentlest cream you can find. Perfect for little one’s skin or those of you mama’s with sensitive skin. I save the Lemon Cream for ME 🙂 It smells so fresh. I really love it. Our skin doesn’t feel greasy at all after use, and it is effective enough that our skin is very soft and conditioned.
The creams and lotions are olive oil based which I just love. She infuses the olive oil with the herbs – you just can’t find practices like this just anywhere. You can really tell they have a passion for what they are doing – and they do it WELL.
