help work out those new years resolutions with Target® C9 :: review

This post was sponsored by Target® through their partnership with POPSUGAR Select. While I was compensated to write a post about Target® C9, all opinions are my own.

It’s January. It’s a NEW YEAR! It’s time to get focused and get the job done – whatever that job may be for you! For me, I have a few different things I want to achieve this year. While I am working on all them right now, I am trying my best to focus on my health. After all, if you don’t have your health, what do you have?

While speaking on health, I have really been watching a few things since the New Year began. What is it about New Year’s Resolutions that make us do what we should be doing anyways? Well, I have a few things to share with you!

My water intake. I am really trying to increase that. It’s just good for you, ya know?!?!?

Tracking what I eat. I have found if you do that, you eat less. Who would have thought!

Focusing. Last year was maddening. Like, so. much. to. do. This year I am changing that. I am focusing on my family and after that, my job. But I am really weaning off of my job. They just need to make sense, otherwise, “ain’t nobody got time for that!” Once you decide to focus on something, it is SO refreshing when you see yourself sticking to it!

Working out 4-5 days a week. Yes, a big goal when you have a busy life, but such a rewarding one. I have found that the scale is definitely in my favor when I do this. Even though I haven’t done this consistently, it’s my goal and I’m working towards it.Target C9 line

New fashions. And with health being my focus, why not look cute doing it!! I am a HUGE {like, humongous…but who isn’t really??} fan of Target®. Heck, I grocery shop at Target®! When I was shopping the other day, I stopped by their “workout gear” department. Have you been there before? I tend to forget about it! Last summer I picked up a handful of shorts from the Target® C9 collection. They were my go-to in the warm months! Now, I picked up another fab outfit – that I’ll be able to mix and match. Check it out!

I got capri leggings this time, versus shorts or pants, because I think that I will be able to use them more often. Right now, it’s freezing here, yet I don’t want to wear pants or shorts. I like the different colors in the capri leggings I picked out too, I feel it takes away from my hips! Ha! I had to coordinate a little as well, because…cute. Remember? The headband and tank went well together, and I love purple, so win/win! Last, it’s all about cocoon jacket/cardigan. I will use this a lot…going to and from the gym, and so many other times too! It’s just perfect!!

What do you think about this post? What New Year’s resolutions do you have to share with me? What about the Target® C9 collection? Do you love it as much as I do?

My resolution is to exercise more, but unfortunately I need to wait until I’m done breastfeeding because I’ve found that exercise affects my milk supply. (Weird?!) But I plan on getting some new clothes to motivate me when the time comes. Yours are really cute! 🙂

The same thing happened for me with breast feeding. If I started working out too soon, there went my milk! Good for you on waiting it out, Momma!! 🙂
