Two little tidbits about me for ya: 1) I was 22 before I ever had my first cavity and 2) I brushed my teeth 2 (often 3) times a day until I got pregnant with my first child. Then every time I put my toothbrush in my mouth, I gagged and…um…it never ended well. We were friends with our dentist at the time and I asked him what I could do since I couldn’t brush my teeth easily. I couldn’t just not brush my teeth for 9 months! And he suggested a mouth rinse that would at least help keep my mouth clean(er) and fresh(er) until I could manage to get back to brushing. And, miracles of miracles, it worked! It burned like wild, but it worked! However, once I got past the worst few weeks (months, in some cases) of nausea, I was back to brushing and I quit using the rinse.

crestI was recently given the chance to try the new Crest Pro-Health Tartar Protection Rinse. This rinse is different from many of the other rinses I’ve tried. (I’m a little bit like Goldilocks when it comes to mouth rinses – this one’s too spicy, this one gets too foamy, this one just doesn’t taste right). But Crest Pro-Health Tartar Protection Rinse has just the right amount of kick and after swishing it around for a minute or two, it’s not so bubbly that it’s all over the place. And you know that feeling when your run your tongue across the back of your teeth as you leave the dentist and it feels so incredibly clean? That’s how I feel every single time I use Crest Pro-Health Tartar Protection Rinse. No lie. I’m very impressed with how well it works! I honestly can’t wait to ask my dental hygienist if she sees a difference when I go back next time.

But even if you aren’t as persnickety about your oral hygiene as I am, it’s important to consider using products like this rinse. Did you know that your oral health is inextricably linked to your overall health? It has been proven in multiple studies that poor oral health leads to an increased risk of heart disease. Using a rinse like this can not only prevent gingivitis, but also reduce and possibly reverse signs of it, which is good news all around.

Crest Pro-Health Tartar Protection Rinse is uniquely formulated to not only work against the effects of gingivitis but also help prevent tartar build-up and protect against cavities. Another bonus? It helps prevent against surfaces stains and freshens your breath! It amazing how something that only takes a few minutes a day can make such a difference!

I love the pro-health mouthwash. It doesn’t burn like other brands.

Nice review! I am not a big mouthwash fan, but I do take care of my teeth pretty meticulously. My dentist calls me her “easy patient!” I’ll keep my eyes open for this mouthwash; maybe it’ll work for me!
