happybaby and happytots pouches :: review

After doing my review back in October for HappyBaby foods (initial review here) I have been periodically checking my local retailers in search of their new HappyBaby & HappyTot Pouches.  About a month back I finally found them carried at our local Target and I am seriously glad I never gave up the search!

My youngest daughter has consistently and emphatically refused baby food.  I thought it was a dislike of the consistency or flavors, but come to find out it was just because she wanted to feed herself.  As soon as I started letting her try the HappyBaby pouches on her own she devoured them!!!

HappyBaby pouches come in 3 stages (like most baby foods).  They call their stages 1: starting solids; 2: simple combos; and 3: balanced meals.  Pretty self-explanatory and you can see all the delicious baby food flavors offered here.

HappyTot pouches are perfect for toddlers, with more complex fruit and vegetable combinations as well as Salba®, a super grain.  If you’re like me you have never before heard of Salba®, so here’s a quick bit if info: “Salba®… nature’s most nutritious grain, is the best whole food source of Omega 3’s and fiber.  Salba® is high in protein, fiber and antioxidants.  A great source of vitamins and minerals, it is also certified Non-GMO, Vegan, Kosher, and Gluten-Free.”

The flavor combinations of the HappyTot pouches are truly amazing.  In the picture above my youngest is eating a pouch of green beans, pears & peas.  Individually I had tried all of these flavors with NO success, however, the HappyTot pouch combination has been such a big hit with her that I can’t buy that particular flavor fast enough.  She LOVES her pouches!

TRY THEM: Visit your local health food store or major retailer to pick up some HappyBaby or HappyTot pouches.  I found the HappyBaby stage 1 & 2 pouches for 89¢ and the HappyTot pouches for only 99¢ at my local Target.

I wish I would have found these sooner. My son is very limited on the fruits and veggies he will eat since he turned one. When I bought the stage 3 pouches he ate them all within two days. Now I can't keep enough of them in my house. I just LOVE them.

I absolutely LOVE these! My daughter stopped eating baby food at around 8 months old. We bought the pouch food to try and she loved it. Now at 17 months old, we pick up a few of the toddler pouches every time we are at Target. She loves to have them as a snack and is usually very upset when she finishes it.

This is one of my favorite baby/toddler brands. I LOVE how easily they travel… and how my son can feed himself without a mess. LOVE.
