get ready to workout with jockey activewear :: review

My kids are officially on Spring Break starting today at 4pm. And, while we’re not heading anywhere warm and beaches, pools, and swimsuits are not on the docket for Spring Break, it does serve as a reminder that Summer is not too far away. While I may not have been so faithful to my “Get Into Shape” New Years’ Resolutions the first few months of 2013, I do have about 2 months before our Summer officially gets underway.

Two months of pushing past the excuses and just getting it done! Jockey is helping me push past a few of those excuses!!!

With their growing line of Women’s Activewear, I’m finally able to find workout clothes that fit my body. See, I’m a bit on the short side and most full length workout pants are just too long on me. That extra length just gets in the way. Jockey offers different pant styles with three different lengths — short, regular, and long.  It’s so nice to have a pant that is actually designed for my size!

Known for their undergarments, Jockey has also redesigned their Sports Bras! With a variety of fits and colors, Jockey’s Sports Bras are made of moisture-wicking fabric to keep you cool and dry and feature removable bra cups. Let’s face it, some of us just don’t need that extra padding so it’s nice to be able to remove those cups and extra padding if you like. But then it’s also nice to have that little extra padding and coverage on those cold morning runs! You know what I’m saying…

Of course Jockey also offers a variety of tops that are perfect for layering up as we move from cold outdoor runs to hot indoor yoga classes.

The reason I love Jockey Activewear is that they have bundled three key features into their clothes — I get a comfortable fit for my body type, they perform despite the different workout conditions I’m in (indoor/outdoor, hot/cold), and they look good! With the variety of styles and colors, you’ll definitely feel inspired by your new Activewear! Oh, and they are really affordable.  So, I guess that’s four key features.

Now, if I could only get someone from Jockey to drag my butt out of bed at 6am to go for that run, I’d be all set!!! You can find the full line of Jockey Activewear online at jockey.com.

This is what I need especially now that I need to workout. I believe that in working out we need to wear clothes that are comfortable and appropriate to make things easy. Gotta grab these.

I’m so glad our pants were a perfect fit! Being on the tall side myself, I love that they come in three lengths as well. If you’d like, we can arrange to have someone call you at 5 am and make sure you are up and working out… 😉

I might just take you up on that, Maureen! Although my son decided to give me a fabulous 5am wake up “call” this morning and then my daughter followed it up at 6:30am. They don’t quite understand the concept of sleeping in on Spring Break!
