five fabulous reasons you need a nucleus in your life + GIVEAWAY!

disclaimer giveaway
You guys. I review a lot of products but I am super excited to share this one with you. I only recently heard about Nucleus and wasn’t really sure how often we would use a home intercom system. But then we got a Nucleus and I realized how much MORE it is than an intercom! This little system can replace your current home intercom system, your baby monitor, your Amazon Alexa and more!

The Nucleus is a video communication device that connects through wi-fi. Each screen is connected through the Nucleus system so I can call downstairs or I can call a relative in another state.  Each screen can also connect with mobile phones that are added to the system.  Watch this video to see more about how Nucleus works.

Here are FIVE ways Nucleus can be used in a busy family.
nucleus home screen
Keeping in touch with relatives.  A simple touch screen makes it easy for kids to call their grandparents.  It’s a great way to let them have a way to reach out to loved ones without needed a parent to help them.

nucleuskidsChecking in with me!  Like so many families, we happily ditched our landline.  And, for the most part, my kids aren’t home alone.  However, on the off chance that my daughter beats me home, she can easily call me using Nucleus.  With a quick push of a button, she can call my cell phone to check in.  This is also great if we have babysitters who don’t have their own phones or may have forgotten theirs.  I know they can still get in touch with us.  This was my biggest misgiving about getting rid of a home phone and now it’s not a worry at all!
nucleusfeature
Video baby monitor.  Since the Nucleus screen are all connected, keeping one in baby’s room can easily replace any current monitor situation.  And since the screens are large and super clear, it’s easy to see what’s going on with baby!

nucleusalexaAmazon Alexa.  All Nucleus home monitor systems come with Amazon Alexa.  No need for yet another device in your home!  My kids love asking Alexa to tell them jokes.  I love doing a quick weather check to seeif it’s a rainboots or sandals kind of day.nucleus wall mount

Home Intercom.  I know I’m not the only mom who is not a fan of yelling (usually multiple times) for my kids to come down for dinner–or to do their homework–or even to wake up!    The Nucleus can be used for all of that.  I love that it can be wall mounted or sit on a desktop.
So, I’ve just replaced my home phone, my baby monitor, and my Amazon Alexa–plus I can communicate with my kids and family with the push of a button.  I was so impressed with all the Nucleus can do!  Setup was super easy (I am not a techie and had no issues at all with getting the Nucleus all set up).  Check out some more stories about how people are using Nucleus to simplify their lives over on the Nucleus blog!

A SIMPLE GIVEAWAY

Nucleus is offering a system to one lucky SIMPLE reader.  And for those of you ready to add Nucleus to your home now, head on over to the Nucleus website with this link to get $50 off a system of two or more units.

Not for us, but for my son and DIL’s busy family. At their house it does not matter what is going on, it seems the person you need to talk to or keep an eye on is at the other end of the stairs. I see this as being great for family communication. I also see their tech savvy family finding a bunch of other uses.
