fashion forward with kohl’s :: review {#4thofjulystyle #RealMomStyle}

I love holidays.  All of them.  And I love to wear clothes that show off whatever holiday we are celebrating.  4th of July is right around the corner and I have some fabulous clothing choices for you that are not only amazing, but will not break your bank!

If you have been following us on the SIMPLE Instagram account or my personal Instagram account, you will see that I have been LOVING Kohl’s lately.  My new motto is, what’s NOT to love at Kohl’s!  Their “expect great things” tagline is spot on!

I went with my girls to check out what they had that would work for all the outings we will be doing centered around the 4th of July.  It is HOT, hot, HoT right now in Michigan, so I wanted clothing choices that were light and easy.  I found some great stuff!  I’m going to start off by showcasing what I found…then I will show what I am wearing too.  It was all super fun, and to be honest, I have been back two times for more goodies for this summer since my initial trip to Kohl’s!

We started it off right, when my oldest found a matching Dollie & Me set in the kids section. Had. To. Have.

From there, we went all out in the fitting room. I picked up anything and everything that was fun and fitting for the 4th of July. Check out some of my favorites ::

These are just fun items. I LOVE the plaid men’s shorts. The last time I was in Kohl’s, I saw them for $14.99! Also, I opted to not get the glasses, I wasn’t feeling it. I picked up another fun pair and HAD to have the fedora. You guys…there is so much!!

• ELLE shorts with cute belt :: The MOST comfortable shorts I’ve tried on all year shown above in the blue color.  I picked these up in the color shown as well as black.  They are offered in over 6 colors!
• Cuffed Chambray, Apt 9 shorts ::  Love the detailing, the belt and the comfortable factor!
• Apt 9 Chevron Bangle and Pyramid Cuff Bangle :: SO many colors to choose from!  I have a Chevron silver one and a studded teal.  I love the combo of these two together!
• Apt 9 Studded Black Sandals with bow :: These come in three different colors and are so cute! Between the studding and the box, they are a total win!
• Apt 9 Smocked Top :: Super flattering top.  Comes in three different color schemes, I chose the one above, but it was a hard choice!
• Apt 9 Striped Ribbon Straw Fedora Hat :: LOVE it!  It fits so perfectly and I love the light accent of color.  Comes in two different color schemes as well
• Dollie & Me Outfit :: Any little girl who has an 18″ doll will love this line at Kohl’s! This one was just TOO cute to pass up 🙂
