Welch's LogoOne of my favorite things about summer is all the fresh produce with my girls. When you’re buying fruit fresh from the farmer you know there aren’t any “extras” – just like the new Farmer’s Pick by Welch’s!

Farmer's Pick by Welch's Raspberry Fruit Spread on toastI’m rather picky about the juice and fruit spreads that come into my house. When I first read the ingredient list for the Farmer’s Pick Raspberry Spread and the Farmer’s Pick Concord Grape Spread the first thought I had was “These are the same ingredients I use when I make jam myself!” I can’t tell you how excited I was to see such a simple ingredient list and to then taste the spreads… they are DELICIOUS!

Okay, a few bullets on the Farmer’s Pick Fruit Spreads ::

  • No high fructose corn syrup
  • No artificial flavors or colors
  • No preservatives
  • Made with 100% North American grown fruit for a delicious treat anytime of the day
  • Available in 17 oz. glass jars of Concord Grape, Strawberry and Raspberry flavors

Farm'er Pick by Welch's Fruit Spread collageWe also got to try the new Farmer’s Pick by Welch’s 100% Juices and you should have seen my 6-year-old daughter’s eyes bug out when she saw that there was both Blackberry and Mango flavors for her to try! With no preservatives, no artificial flavors, no synthetic colors or artificial ingredients I was excited for her to try them as well.

Farmer's Pick by Welch's Juice collageFarmer’s Pick by Welch’s 100% Juices are cold kettle batched, which means that when they batch the juice they keep the kettles cool to help preserve the delicate aroma and fresh flavor of the juice. The juices are also unfiltered, so they contain more of the actual fruit to help deliver body aroma, and fresh-picked fruit taste.

happiness in a bottleFrom the first mouthful of the Farmer’s Pick by Welch’s 100% Blackberry Juice I could taste the delicious blackberries and grapes (it’s a delightful blend of different fruit juices). What I really got excited about though was that by giving my kids just one 8 oz. glass I manage to get 2 servings (1 cup) of fruit into them! Rather a big deal on days when they don’t feel very well and I’m desperate to get them to eat/drink any foods with nutritional value. With hot days approaching I’ll be using our Farmer’s Pick by Welch’s 100% Juices to make some delicious homemade popsicles!

Available in 46 oz. bottles, you can find Farmer’s Pick by Welch’s 100% Juice in Concord GrapeBlackberry and Mango flavors at your local grocers along with the different Farmer’s Pick by Welch’s Fruit Spreads.

I just had the mixed berry and it has a strong flavor of dirt. I also purchased 2 bottles of the blackberry and I am hoping it does not have that same dirty flavor. I am guessing because it is unfiltered? But i think the fruit could have at least been washed.

I haven’t tried these fruit spreads, but they look really good. I love the simple ingredients as well.

I’m not a big juice drinker, but I absolutely love fruit spreads and I definitely think I should try these. I would like to try them on a waffle.

The jelly and the juice both sound wonderful! They’re going on my grocery list!

I like concord grape jelly, and this post makes me want to bake some biscuits just so I can eat them with some jelly! 🙂
