disney :: lady and the tramp {history}

Did you watch Lady and the Tramp as a kid?  I sure did…and loved it!

It’s coming to Blu-ray for the first time on February 7, 2012.  Opening the archives baby!!

I’m not going to talk about the DVD today, I’m only letting you know about the highly anticipated launch as well as a fact about the songs in “Lady and the Tramp”.

FOR THIS DAY IN HISTORY STORIES – PEGGY LEE PASSED AWAY ON JANUARY 21, 2002 IN BEL AIR, CA (AGE 81).
Recording artist Peggy Lee wrote the songs with Sony Burke and assisted with the score in Lady and the Tramp. In the film, she sings “He’s a Tramp”, “La La Lu”, “The Siamese Cat Song” and “What Is a Baby?”.

Your kids may enjoy watching these clips of the songs, as mine did.  Enjoy!!

“He’s a Tramp”

“Siamese Cat Song”

“Bella Notte”
