I have another wonderful diaper to share with you this afternoon… The Tender Tushies Bamboo Diaper!
When I first pulled this diaper out of the package, I immediately took it to my husband and told him he needed to feel this diaper! The fabric is incredibly soft and does not feel like any other diaper in my stash. What makes it so soft? It is a blend of organic cotton and bamboo. These natural fibers are GREAT for being up against baby’s sensitive skin!
The AIO Bamboo Liner lays on top of this diaper and acts as an AI2. It is made up of 2 layers of bamboo and 2 layers of microfiber. It is then topped with a microfleece top, which leaves baby’s skin nice and dry! The backing is waterproof with means when baby gets it wet, all you have to do is remove the liner and lay in a clean one (the diaper itself stays clean). This cuts down on the number of diapers you are having to wash and also makes your diaper bag a little less hefty since you will only need one shell to every couple liners.
Bamboo is naturally antimicrobial and deodorizing. Plus, bamboo is a quickly renewable resource, so it is environmentally friendly. Win-Win!
Not only is the liner very absorbent, but the diaper itself is very trim. My son is pretty little (no extra rolls on my little man), so cloth diapers can be a little bulky. Not this diaper though! It fits him like a glove, and because of the one size snapping system it will fit him for a long time to come!
