delicious hot chocolate : : warm heart

Sometimes you just need a warm mug filled with hot chocolate to hold on tight to! Being an Ohioan, there are times our seasons seem to change within 24 hours! With a snow storm currently approaching, my weekend plans are starting to appear less appealing! My little trio, Hubby, PJs, and FAVORITE hot chocolate recipe sounds just about right!

This recipe I have played around with over the years and have seemed to finally get it right! Just the right amount of sweetness and just the perfect amount of creamy! Delicious, SIMPLE, perfection.HotChoc Collage

While what goes IN the mug is important, also I find having a favorite mug to clench onto makes it all the more enjoyable! My in-laws purchased my littles their own mini mugs for Christmas this year, along with two matching full size mugs! It was love at first site! I instantly had visions of us with our favorite hot chocolate recipe and how much my little trio would love to finally have a mini mug to call their own!

So now we snuggle, as a family of 5, drinking my oh so favorite hot chocolate recipe, where extra freshly made whipped cream is always an option, in our matching mugs without a care in the world!

What is your favorite way to drink your hot chocolate?

What would you add or remove from my recipe?

Brrr it’s cold right now and I could certainly go for a nice cup of hot chocolate. And there’s nothing better than real, fresh whipped cream. Yum

This sounds so delicious! I’m not very creative so I’ll go with the powder and coconut milk. I love adding cinnamon and lots of marshmallows. Definitely going to give this a try, here in NY we have very similar weather and hot cocoa is a must.
