I absolutely hate to craft, but I have a 6 year old who crafts with toilet paper, tape, glue, glitter {eeeeekkkk}, and anything she can get her hands on. Sometimes her projects get so involved that I get sucked into helping her. I love to spend time with her, but she doesn’t always have the best timing when she needs help (ie. as I’m making dinner). Crorey Creations is a mom’s best friend. They have the most adorable self contained crafts that are just the right speed for my Annabelle.

My Ribbon Barrette Maker

She needed my help tying knots and getting her set up with the barrette maker, but she got the hang of it quickly. I appreciate the drawer underneath that neatly holds all the barrettes, ribbons, beads, etc. Part of my dislike for crafting is the chaos that can come with all the materials. We made a few barrettes one evening before bed and then we neatly packed it up for next time. Annabelle wore her barrette to the gym the next day and a little girl asked her to make her one. She came home and got right to work. There are plenty of materials to keep her busy for quite some time.

My Image Button Maker

This button maker was a hit with all of our kids. This is another SELF CONTAINED craft. Can you tell I like that part? The kids punched out the circles with the cutter and assembled buttons and magnets. They were making all kinds of buttons to give to their friends at school the next day. Then we really got clever and made some custom buttons. There is a very easy to use app where we could upload photos and then make customized buttons. That of course was a huge hit with the kids. The button maker has a very generous supply of materials and it can be neatly stored away when not in use.

You can find Crorey Creations at Costco! Oh how I HEART Costco. These would make great birthday gifts, it’s a perfect rainy day activity, and don’t forget it’s SELF CONTAINED! Minimal mess, but lots of crafting happiness for your little ones.
