create a new space for play with softTiles

What’s the best way to make a unfinished basement usable for the time being? We don’t want to waste the great space we have in the basement just because it is unfinished.  It can be useful for many things such as storage and a play area for the kids.
SoftTiles
To make our space more kid friendly and able to use without getting it finished right away, SoftTiles are being put to use. They are the perfect way to use this space and make it look like a little play area.

My older daughter likes to use these mats as a gymnastic area and do tumbles and cart wheels. While my 12 month old can play on it freely without me having to worry if she is going to bonk her head.

They are very simple to put together and you can put them together any way you would like. But I like to be pretty accurate with it so I copied the design that came with it.softtiles

There are so many ideas that you could use the SoftTiles for, not just a play area. You could use them for a garage, flooring for a gym and even trade show flooring. They even have a wood grain pattern that looks pretty cool. You could also get a custom design done with your child’s name in it or custom colors. The possibilities are endless.

While I just made our basement look better, check out my friend Laura & Co. to see how she utilized the SoftTiles. Boy is it ever gorgeous!

What would you do with your SoftTiles?
