ThirstiesThere are a lot of great cloth diapers out there, so how do you pick the right one?? I’ll make it easy for you… start with Thirsties and you will never need to try another diaper (unless you are a cloth diapering geek like me and feel the need to try them all!! You know who you are!), but in all seriousness… there will be no “need” to try another brand unless it’s just out of curiosity because this diaper takes the cake!

Thirsties One Size Pocket Diaper is a easy to use and ultra absorbent! This diaper comes with 2 different inserts: 3 layer microfiber infant insert and 5 layer hemp cotton regular insert. Snap these two inserts together for maximum absorption and you had a winning team for those toddlers that “go” less frequently but with more quantity! My little guy is 20 months, and we are finding that we need something very absorptive for him. Since trying Thirsties, we have had absolutely NO leaks!

Thirsties 2Not only do the inserts contribute to the absorbency of this diaper, but the leg gussets help to keep things clean and dry! I have used a lot of cloth diapers in my day (probably a few too many!) and I have never seen leg gussets like on the Thristies diaper. They work so beautifully! No mess + less laundry for this mama = all smiles!

One other thing worth mentioning is the pocket of this diaper is open from both the front and the back which makes for easy stuffing – and more importantly, UN-stuffing!

If/when we have another child, I can guarantee I will be adding more Thirsties One Size Pocket Diapers to our stash! I may not even be able to wait THAT long!! 🙂

    My favorite feature is that the pocket is open in the front and back. That must help a lot when removing the insert.

    I haven’t tried Thirsties before but I love the idea of having such great leg gussets! Make a big difference for different stages in child’s life. I know a few people who use them and love love love them! Have my second baby due November 23rd so once this little one is born can make some more purchases. We currently use GroVia and do like them for our 2 1/2 year daughter.

    I love their inserts! I have tried Thirsties, and they are my preferred diaper. They fit well, and the inserts are extra trim, yet very absorbent! My favorite part though, is that they are American Made and family owned!
