Are there any secretaries out there? Excuse me, administrative assistants. I’ve had some sort of part or full time secretary job since 1999. While Bosses Day is fixed to October 16 every year, Secretary’s Day is a moveable feast celebrated on a Wednesday towards the end of April. April 23, 2014 is Administrative Professionals’ Day. I would be more than thrilled to receive a bouquet of chocolate flowers on my desk (should I email this post to my boss?) or THIS cute chocolate iPhone. I test tasted the iPhone and wow! I’m kind of a dark chocolate snob and that was amazing chocolate. The white chocolate “apps” were a nice combo with the dark chocolate.
Depending on my current boss, sometimes I have to drop a few hints so the day isn’t forgotten. You know, ADD IT TO THE GOOGLE CALENDAR. 🙂 It is our job to remind our bosses of what’s coming. I haven’t reminded my current boss because he always remembers and is very generous. I do send my dad an email to remember his secretaries though. I think anything from www.chocolateflowers.com would be a hit.
