Fall is upon us.  After all, the first day of fall was this week.  Uhhh, I honestly didn’t know that until I heard someone say it when I was out running errands.  Good to know!  Then, of course, my oldest informed me of this great news when she can home from school.  We do love fall in our home!  Really, all things fall. From the food, to the changing of the colors to the cooler temperatures.  One other reason I love fall is because of the changing of the clothes!  Out go the shorts and in come the sweaters.  I love shorts and t-shirts as much as the next person, but there is just something about sweater season too 🙂

Keep in mind, I am 23 weeks pregnant so the skirt is a little more “lumpy” that usual. However, don’t you just love the pleats in the skirt! Pleats can be so uber flattering…if used the right way. Too short or too high will give a look you do NOT want! And the shirt, what do you think? Too much? I love it to be honest. You can do so much with it. Pair it with what I have shown, some black skinny jeans, a black pencil skirt, or black dressy wide leg trousers.  Want some color? Add color with accessories or just switch an item out that I mentioned. Personally though, I love the black and white look that the Catherine Malandrino line is all about!

I have seen so many items from this line that I adore and want in my closet…but right now, the one that has me the most is the Tres Chic Workweek Striped Sweater. Isn’t is just lovely?!?!  I’ve been all but stalking this gem.  It will be in my closet soon, I’m sure of it LOL! Oh what you can do with this!!
