Reading is something we have always enjoyed doing together as a family. I’m so thankful that my girls love to read! Taking trips to the library to grab a few new reads happens quite frequently in our home. The best part of buying books however, is getting to keep them and not be on a…
July and most of August thus far have kicked my butt. When talking with friends, I just laugh and say, “Summer has taken advantage of me!” And it’s the truth! I was so excited for summer to begin, before it began, thinking my time would be freed up and I would be able to do…
A year ago, my baby brother moved back to Michigan from Nashville, Tennessee to take a job working for my husband. Until then, he had been living with my parents as he searched for a job in the music industry in Music City. Much easier said than done. So he packed up his little car…

My little peanut turned 2 the end of July. I still can’t believe she is old enough to be talking, walking, running and all the other things her big sisters do. This is so awesome, and yet so bittersweet! However, instead of dwelling on my little one growing, we have to embrace it! We are…
Who loves Mason Jars? I do, so I had to share with you this hot item from Smart Planet Home. Previously reviewed from smart planet home is the eco friendly lunch box. I got to review a Mason Drinking Jar. This cup has a straw, lid and handle. It is perfect. This cup is perfect…
Back to School shopping is fun. Scoring great deals on items that are necessary makes it even more fun! I recently made a trip to Wal-Mart to pick up some essentials that Lili had to get for 2nd grade this year. A list was sent home, and we needed to get the items and check…
