bubble pop :: material for imaginative play :: giveaway

disclaimer giveaway

I love having all the kids home for the summer, but it’s a challenge at times to keep them playing independently. I’m not talking independently playing video games either. Although they would do that just fine for 12 hours a day – every day. We’ve been purposefully putting away the electronics and making sure we use our brains and imaginations each day.

Kids like to play with the strangest things sometimes. Bubble Pop has provided hours, yes HOURS, of good old fashioned playing around the house. Grab one roll of each design at your local Walmart and you will be surprised all the ways your kids will find to play with it. You should probably grab some more tape too.
things to do with bubble pop
Bedroom doorways were decorated with Bubble Pop drapes, there was a blanket and Bubble Pop fort that was built, and I had to smile when I found a Bubble Pop table runner. There’s also the joy of popping that Bubble Pop. I walked down the hallway a few times and snapped the whole way to my room. I was informed later it was a “security system” to give us early warning if anyone was in the house. I’ve also seen some Bubble Pop fashion pieces on Barbie dolls.

Who knew bubble wrap could be so fun. Of course you can also use it to send packages. The designs are all cute. It makes it more fun to pack and send a gift. I also used it instead of tissue in a gift bag. You might not have known this when you began reading this post, but you need some Bubble Pop in your life!

We’ve had a lot of jokes lately about wrapping Charlie in bubble wrap to keep him safe. He’s the only one of our 3 kids that hasn’t broken a bone this summer. This would be some pretty cute bubble wrap to keep them safe in. I urge you to grab some Bubble Pop during your next trip to Walmart.

I have a large roll of paper. On rainy days when they can’t run off energy, I have them draw on this . By the time Christmas rolls around, they’ll have drawn on a good bit of paper.. .and i use this as wrapping paper.

Our area has been having a rock finding mission going on for a while. It is fun to have the kids paint rocks and then go hide them at museums, parks, outside of businesses, or wherever for others to find. It helps brighten someone’s day. They also enjoy going out on hunts to find some.

Carter would definitely love this. Should I mention he was bike riding the other day and crashed into the light pole outside? Yeah, bubble wrap might help him! LOL We just try to keep him busy, but since his nickname is Crash … well … things happen. We will fill the blow-up pool now and then and a few of the kids around the apartment will play together for quite a while and cool off.

Bubble Pop sounds like lots of fun! I like to have Scavenger Hunts either with or without a map but with clues for my 8 and 9 yr old grandsons. There can be prizes such as treats or small toys for the winner and a second place prize for the runner up to keep things fair. I used to take a small basket and fill it with papers that had things to do written on them… things like visit the bakery for a sample, go swimming, go to the pet store, etc., and the kids if they were good, would get to pick one thing from the basket to do. The behaved and got a surprise!
