beverly hills chihuahua 3 :: new to dvd

The puppies are bbaacckkkkk!! 🙂 On September 18th, 2012, Disney released Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3: Viva La Fiesta!  And if I don’t say so myself, I think it’s just as good as the first one.  So if you liked Beverly Hills Chihuahua and Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2…you have to get your hands on this one!

The chihuahua’s are still up to no good, learning lessons throughout while getting in to trouble and being uber cute the entire time.

Everyone’s favorite talking Chihuahuas Papi (voice of George Lopez) and Chloe (voice of Odette Annable) are back, joined by their five playful pups in an all-new family comedy. It’s canine chaos as Papi’s family (dog and human) move into the posh Langham Hotel, complete with a luxurious doggy spa. But there’s trouble in puppy paradise when Rosa, the littlest member of the pack, feels smaller and less special than ever. Now it’s up to Papi to help Rosa find – and celebrate – her inner strength, which turns out to be bigger than she ever dreamed and reminds humans and canines alike of the importance of family, friends and teamwork.

The girls really enjoyed this DVD.  And to be completely honest, I did too.  Between you and me, I thought that this Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3 was just as good as the original Beverly Hills Chihuahua.  How many times can you say that about a 3rd!  The people in this movie were not cheesy and seemed quite real.  You know how in movies that involve animals as main characters, the humans are a bit “off’? Not the case, in my opinion.  The story lines were fun and engaging…again, from the animals to the humans.  It just all intertwines SO well.  Last, the costumes {eh-hmm, doggie clothes} were hysterical.  Maybe my daughters’ favorite part 🙂

In this edition, you have available at your fingertips three ways to watch.  DVD, Blu-ray as well as Digital Copy.  I love the digital copy option because I load the movies on my iPad for my girls to watch.  In addition, within the bonus features you can watch a clip, “Hanging with Papi”, a playful look at a typical day on-set for Papi and both his human and canine costars, and the English and Spanish versions of “Living Your Dreams” an all-new music video performed by Raini Rodriguez, star of Disney Channel’s popular series “Austin and Ally.”
