better understand your health risks

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Beaumont for IZEA Worldwide. All opinions are 100% mine.

Working in the health care field, I have a passion for health care and understanding our bodies. We all need to take responsibility for our bodies and what we do with them. We have to be our own advocate and take control of our health. Doctors and nurses are there to help and guide us to keep ourselves healthy, but WE are the ones that ultimately have to do the work. Finding a doctor that is a good fit for you and your family can be tough. But there is one out there for everyone. Beaumont is one hospital that is patient centered. They recognize the important role families provide in supporting the health, healing and well-being of patients in their health journey. They provide an environment where families are valued and honored members of the care team. health risk beaumont They believe that partnering with patients and families is essential to the care they deliver.

Beaumont’s mission is to provide compassionate, extraordinary care every day. This is based on a foundation of providing care in a safe, patient and family-centered environment. We are committed to being transparent about the quality and success of our care by sharing information with patients, families, and our community.

Beaumont Health is a not-for-profit organization formed by Beaumont Health System, Botsford Hospital and Oakwood Health System to provide patients with the benefit of greater access to the highest quality, compassionate care, no matter where they live in southeast Michigan. health risk beaumont One way to help provide the best care to their patients is having them take a risk assessment. There are 4 different ones you can take. Click here to start yours. I actually took two of the assessments to see where I places. With the history of my grandmother having breast cancer, I wanted to see where I fell on that. I also decided to take the heart assessment as well. Since I am 41 and have not had my first mammogram yet (check out these mammography screening guidelines), it is definitely time to get that scheduled. Taking Beaumont’s free breast cancer risk assessment has given me the push to get that going (Schedule an annual mammogram) because it stated I had an increased risk due to family history.health risk beaumont I think these assessments are good tools to help you keep on track with your health and keep your self in check. I encourage you to take the assessments and based on your results you can call you doctor as a follow-up. Do you take your health seriously? Do you get annual check ups? If you are interested in knowing more about your health and risks, I suggest you taking these assessments to know where you stand and what your next steps should be.
