Nerf RebelleBefore I had little girls I swore up and down that I would not have pink, frilly little girls. I’m not particularly girly (except when it comes to chick flicks. I love chick flicks.) nor do I wear pink (often). But, as it sometimes happens when tiny humans bound into your life, I changed my tune a bit once I had a little girl. Both of my girls are girly girls but they are also both tough as nails. They love princesses and Star Wars, jewelry and Legos, baby dolls and robots. When we first opened the new Rebelle Guardian Crossbow box, my 7 year old begged to start shooting right away. And with a toy like this, who wouldn’t want to play right away?

The Nerf Rebelle Guardian Crossbow only requires about a 3-second set up and comes with 6 NERF darts. With a quick back and forth of the slide, you can take your time shooting individual darts or do a rapid blast of all six darts back-to-back. The first (accidental) shot we took with the crossbow surprised us when it made it all the way into the other room. Those suckers fly!

Yesterday was a beautiful day here and the whole family had fun playing with this toy. My parents even got in on the fun. One kid would fire darts and the other kids, my parents, and I would race to grab them as quickly as possible. It doesn’t sound like a very exciting game, but we were all hustling and laughing so I call that a win. This is a great go-to toy for girls of all ages (and maybe even a few grown-ups).
