I can’t believe it’s already Memorial Day weekend!  With the weather finally gorgeous here in Michigan, we can’t wait to kick off summer and spend time playing in the backyard with our family and neighbors.  While we have a few yard games we like to play, the one that is best for all ages is Baggo.  Similar to cornhole, Baggo is played in teams and points are scored when the beanbag is tossed into the hole.  Since it’s easy to adjust the throwing distance, Baggo can be played fairly with teams with a huge age range.  It’s a blast for adults, but even my two-year-old gets into it! Not only is Baggo a fun game to play in our own backyard, it is also extremely easy to transport.    Because the bean bags store in the back of the boards and the boards snap together, they take up very little room.  In fact, the boards come with a mounting bracket for storage (a HUGE bonus since I literally can’t fit another thing on my garage floor).  Since Baggo is made out of blow molded polyethylene, it is super lightweight and it won’t warp or rot if it gets wet.  It’s also extremely durable.  The cheaply made particle-board bean bag toss we originally bought broke one of the first times we used it.  With Baggo, not only do the boards hold up to regular play, but they also hold up to my toddler climbing on them.  Because Baggo is lightweight and easy to transport, it is the perfect game to bring to a tailgate, camping, the beach or a BBQ. Baggo is also customizable.  I was able to make a custom Baggo game for my husband for Father’s Day using logos from our alma mater where he played soccer. We LOVE how they turned out!  This feature really ups the gift-giving potential.  Not only is Baggo great for a backyard Memorial Day BBQ, but woudn’t this make a great gift for a new graduate with college logos?  And, of course, I think it’s the perfect Father’s Day gift.  A game he will actually enjoy with adults and can play with the kids, too!
