Babycakes – refined sugar, gluten, wheat, soy casein, egg free…and Vegan and Kosher!

I found the most fabulous cook book! Babycakes has some of the most delicious recipes in it. BUT…(pause for reaction), the recipes are vegan (mostly), gluten-free and (mostly) sugar free recipes! They have physical bakeries in New York as well as Los Angeles. (If you have been to one of their bakeries, totally leave a comment and let me know. I want to go there when we go back to New York!)

The recipes include sweets free from wheat, gluten, dairy, eggs, soy and refined sugar! Woot Woot! So awesome! I try as hard as I can to stay away from so many of these items, but then I feel like I am taking the fun out of my children’s childhood! Afterall, I turned out pretty ok 🙂 and I had all that stuff in my food. Regardless, there is just so much extra non-sense in foods these days, I think it is pretty awesome that they took the time to come out with this cookbook for those of us who don’t feel like searching the internet for a resource like this!

OK, Yum! Look at these pages from the book:

Now I bet you are super curious to see the recipes, just like I was. You can purchase your own copy at Amazon, Barnes & Noble as well as Random House, just to name a few. If you are in LA or New York, they have copies of their books at their bakeries as well. You can expect to pay anywhere between $16.32 and $24.00 through the links I have listed.

thank you so much for posting this!!! We just found out my 5 yo son has allergies to milk, eggs, wheat and peanuts…I was wondering what I would do to still make him feel like a kid, especially since he's starting kindergarten next month 🙂 I am SO excited!!!!!!!
