baby k’tan :: a wrap without all the wrapping {giveaway}

OK, so this review will be completely transparent on my part.  If you ever wonder if we truly try out the products that we write about, this is your assurance that we do.  PLEASE, read this all 🙂

I received a Baby K’Tan baby carrier and I was excited and not at the same time.  For my first two girls, I used the same carrier and I didn’t forsee a change in sight.  It was what I knew and after all, some of these baby carriers sure do look complicated, don’t they? Wraps, and buckles, and straps and extra fabric…and on and on.  I didn’t want to exert the mental energy needed to learn a new carrier.

But, because I had to write about it, I knew I would have to dive in and learn how to use ANOTHER carrier.  Because after all, all carriers are not created equal, are they?

NOW…listen up.  I just LOVE this carrier!  Right?  Can you sense the change in the tone of my voice?  I’ll admit, I attempted it once on my own when the kids were running around.  I didn’t understand how to work it.  But once I actually had someone help me read the directions, IT WAS SO SIMPLE!  I will just blame it on my then sleep deprived brain 🙂 I have tried it multiple times since with no hitches.  Easy peasy! One of the other things that I just LOVE about this is the firm hold that I have on Preslee.  With other carriers it seemed the longer I wore the baby, I had to continue to tighten the carrier.

I just LOVE having her so close.  She loves it too. And since I had to stop breastfeeding unexpectedly, I am still able to have this bond with my sweet little girl, on a completely different level of course, but nonetheless 🙂

That is another fabulous thing about Baby K’Tan. They have an entire youtube account of tutorial videos. PERFECT for learners like me who are visual.  Not only that, you can learn on their website too.  I went the “hard” route by reading the directions from the book because I thought that would be the most difficult…and I still figured it out.  See what we go through to test these products for you all?!?!

Have I sold you yet?  Without naming names, my other ‘wrap’ has been tucked away in the drawer and is being prepped for craigslist!

    Basic Black. It goes with everything I wear and people would be less inclined to think my boy is a girl than if I had the eggplant!
