You know the owner of this little business…it’s me. This is a newer endeavor for me, and I enjoy doing what I can from home to provide for the financial needs of my family. Since 2005 I’ve been making diaper cakes to give to all my friends having babies.  I wanted a unique, affordable, and practical gift idea.  Prices online for diaper cakes were not in my budget so I figured out how to make them myself. They require no glue, sewing, or other craft abilities so I found my niche in the creative world.

Diaper cakes start at $30 and include:

25-30 size 2 diapers
Johnson & Johnson’s sample pack
3 baby spoons as topper (wash cloth spoon pop topper $4 extra)
Ribbon of your choice (tissue wrap $1 extra)

Using size 2 diapers allows the recipient to enjoy their diaper cake longer and use it for decoration in the baby’s room.  It’s also helpful for those babies that fit in newborn diapers for all of 2 minutes. (I had one of those!) The cake is 100% usable (diapers, baby spoons, wash cloths, Johnson’s goodies, etc.) and all gifts you might give at a shower. Be the shining star at a shower with a creative way to give boring, but practical items. I won’t tell that it didn’t cost you $100!
Baby Cakes by Ginny B also offers personalized burp cloths made by my mother-in-law. No more worries about a nursery or childcare worker using a another child’s burp cloth on your baby. They will always know which one is your child’s cloth. Ribbon availability can change, but it’s more fun to make every burp cloth unique. Wash cloth spoon pops are also available. They make for great cake toppers!
