It’s just so easy to shop on Amazon and since I live quite far from most of my family, it’ super convenient to have free shipping to send gifts all year for birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, etc. This post will give you many ideas to wrap up your Christmas shopping {pun intended}. All the items I’m sharing I have personally bought, used, and loved. You will like the price points too! Most of the items I’m sharing are $15 or less.

I like to put thought into gifts that I give. I often give practical gifts. I’m always reading the reviews on products, my “research” before I buy. I like to give people things that I have in my home and love. Amazon is so helpful when I’m searching for the perfect gift for someone. It’s organized too. Type in “9 year old boy gifts” and BOOM….tons of ideas are before your eyes.

Here is my 2016 Amazon round-up. If you want more ideas, HERE is last year’s post of my favorite things.

KID PICKS

Kid Picks

  • Vtech Baby Babble and Rattle Microphone– I got this for my 1 year old nephew, but I heard his dad and 3 year old sister loved it too.
  • Leapfrog Musical Rainbow Tea Set- My 2 year old niece was the recipient of this gift. It gurgles, sloshes, lights up, and plays music.
  • Shopkins– Girls ages 5+ LOVE Shopkins. My daughter got a ton for her birthday and I bought a few packs myself for friends and cousins.
  • Giggly Goggles you saw reviewed on the blog a few times this summer. Read more HERE. Boys and girls will love a pair of these comfortable and stylish goggles. They are one of a kind and we LOVE ours. We have a few pairs.
  • Fart Machine– wow was this a winner of a gift for my nephew’s 12th birthday. Nailed it. Remotely control 15 different fart sounds. HERE is a great video of my 3 year old and the fart machine.
  • Go Fish– there are a lot of versions of this game, but this is the cutest I’ve played. Hearing our 3 year old ask “Are you have any JADE or BUTTERCUP or CHARTREUSE?” is very cute. All ages will love this game.

TECHY PICKS

Techy Picks

  • USB charger– we have this charger and if it ever breaks, I will be buying another one the same day. I’ve gifted this charger to a few people as well.
  • Charge base-no more buying batteries for Xbox 360 controllers. This base has been a fabulous addition to our home. Pays for itself quickly when you save so much money on batteries.
  • Portable power bank- this charger is a beast! It can charge an iPad more then once, a phone 5x, plus it’s a flashlight. We no longer ration batteries on our devices when we travel. It has 2 ports as well, so we can charge at the same time. Also, it’s a FAST charge. I LOVE my DULLA power bank.

KITCHEN PICKS

Kitchen Picks

  • Scissors, potato peelers, and the ice cream scoop are my top 3 household items I can’t live without. This would fall in the “practical” gift giving category. My grandparents downsized to a condo last year and didn’t need more “stuff” so I got them Kitchen Aid scissors. They were thrilled with the scissors and said they had some old ones they tossed. Kitchen Aid is my favorite brand. I won’t buy anything else (besides Pampered Chef).
  • Gotham frying pan– I saw the infomercial for this for years and finally got this most amazing pan EVER. It’s as cool as it is on TV. I want 4 more of them. Prices are always subject to change, but I saw it for $14.99 on Amazon this past week.

We got through a few of my favorite things! I hope you gathered some ideas for your loved ones. All the links are affiliate links. That means you’ll be  helping my family in a small way when you purchase through these link. We are grateful and thankful, especially around the holidays.

I love this post…Thank you. I have relied completely on Prime for my holiday shopping due to chronic pain/illness rendering me unable physically go store to store or do all nighter Black Friday like I used to. 🙁 We’re on a super limited income, so I have to comparison shop and get a little overboard with that and the lists. This year dad made get all his for the kids, too. I will say after 16 Christmas’s being a mother I’ve developed a sentimental fondness for the most simple toys. It seems the “shiny and new” doesn’t wear off quite as quickly and more often than not they’re educational. Add in sturdy due to being made of wood, no batteries etc and it’s a win-win.

Thank you for the kind comment. I agree with you that the newest and most popular isn’t always the toy they play with for more then 30 seconds. I hope you found some ideas for your Christmas shopping. Amazon Prime is a wonderful thing!

Thanks for the great list of gift ideas! Those Giggly Goggles might just be exactly what my toddler daughter needs to conquer her fear of going underwater. I think I need the Dulla power bank in my stocking, too! 🙂

My four year-old would definitely love the fart machine – she is strongly into potty humor right now.
